I love this place , best food in Harrisonburg areas . The service is fast and the food is delicious. I order the chicken wings and fried rice , but they offer party platters , lunch special and dinner combos also.
Food is good, portion sizes are really large. The only thing that confuses me is that their chow mein doesn't have noodles? But 'mein' literally means noodles. That would be like selling 'spaghetti and meatballs' but then just giving people meatballs in marinara sauce and that's it. Very odd. Their other dishes were good. I like the cashew chicken.
I ordered the Family Special for 8 for pick up. I arrived promptly at the set time and took it to the family dinner. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed all the different varieties. The food was hot and there was plenty to go around. I have always used Imperial 42 for my Chinese take out and delivery, and the food has always been fresh and delicious!
Honestly the best egg drop soup I have ever had. My girlfriend agrees. She got the General Tso Chicken w/white rice, and shrimp lo mein. The lo mein is top tier. The flavor is so comforting, and nothing is washed out with too many veggies or too much sauce. The pork fried rice was the best fried rice that I have had in the area. I’m super picky about my fried rice so I’m grateful to have found this place.
Best Chinese takeout in Harrisonburg. Our orders arrive quickly and the food is hot and delicious. We had a problem with ordering (our fault, not theirs) and they fixed it. Great customer service and great food. We’ll be ordering food from them again.

We were seated immediately and the food was hot and out in little time. The portions were large and priced well. They use a delivery service or you can pick it up. I had the beef chow nei fun with thin rice noodles. Really good.
I always eat here for lunch! The owners/chefs are very nice and welcoming!! The food is great!! It always comes out steaming hot and full of flavor!! You can order your spicy foods spicy or not so spicy. Can't say enough good things about this about this restaurant!! Come and find out for yourself!! Happy eats!!!
